DNAmail ADSynch Utility

One of the largest obstacles faced by service providers selling hosted business applications is the requirement for users to have two sets of credentials; one to log on to their computer and on-premises applications, and one (or possibly more) for their "hosted" or cloud delivered applications.

Existing Customer? Add Active Directory Syncing to your Account

DNAmail ADSynch Utility combined with our free DNAmail AutoLogon alleviates this problem and delivers a near seamless experience to businesses wanting to consume hosted services.
How does it work? DNAmail ADSynch is installed onto your on-premises Active Directory server and it monitors changes to user objects. When a change occurs, ADSynch automatically ensures the DNAmail instance managing the hosted services is updated with the user information. Password changes are synchronized automatically typically in under 5 seconds.

User Lifecycle Management

Exclude and Include Groups
Users in the on-premises Active Directory can be selected for synchronization based on security group membership. Any users in an "include" group will be synchronized, conversely, if an exclude group is specified, users in the exclude group will never be synchronized. This gives the customer easy control over the users to be replicated into the hosting environment. Typically, usage would be to exclude service accounts or computer accounts or to have control over a migration process from on-premises to Exchange.

User Creation
As soon as a user is created and added to the include group, the user will be replicated in the hosted environment. A template is used for creation that can be used to control which Active Directory attributes are transferred to the new hosted user. When a user is created the SID (globally unique user identifier) from the on-premises Active Directory is also stored in DNAmail against the user.

User Update
Any subsequent changes made to a user in the on-premises Active Directory will be replicated across to the Hosted Active Directory. An API template is used to define which properties are updated. This can be tailored to meet individual customer requirements. Support is also included for disabling of accounts, a disabled account in the on-premises Active Directory will disable the account in the Hosted Active Directory.
